Pirate of the Caribbean

Since Vedh is going to be a Pirate for Halloween, I decided to take full advantage of his costume with a fun Pirate themed photoshoot.

Setting up

After deciding on the dimensions of the backdrop, I taped the light & dark blue streamers to the wall with some painter’s tape. For the frills, I made some rough 1/4inch cuts along the length of the streamers and used some clear tape for extra support.

Next up, I brought in a cardboard box for the ship and glued a strip of black craft paper at the top. I did a fun pattern on the paper plates with a black marker and taped them in place with some painter’s tape. Lastly, I used a blue craft paper to cutout the waves pattern and glued it at the bottom of the ship. As a finishing touch, I downloaded and added the pirate flag.
