I’ve looked at many different options for a toy story themed backdrop but didn’t like any. So, I finally decided to DIY it and I’m so glad I did ’cause the pictures turned out great. Here’s the entire process for my DIY photo backdrop.
A. Cotton clouds
Everything you need

Glue
Cotton balls
Cloud cutouts – 2 sizes
Process
1. Firstly, apply some glue on the cutout.

2. Then stretch as many cotton balls as needed and stick them.

3. It took me three layers of cotton for each cloud to achieve the desired fluffiness.

B. The Backdrop
Everything you need

Clouds
Double sided tape
Painter’s tape
Scissors
Balloons
Thread
Process
1. Firstly, I cut the craft paper to desired dimensions and taped it to the wall with some painter’s tape.

2. I wanted to do some floating aliens on the backdrop, so I tied a piece of thread to the balloon and taped it to the backdrop with a loop of painter’s tape.

3. I marked the point where the alien would go and stuck it in place with some double sided tape

4. Then, I taped the thread to the alien’s hand with some double sided tape to keep it in place and cut off the extras.

5. I repeated the same process on the other side of the backdrop and then taped the clouds with some loops painter’s tape.

6. Lastly, I arranged all the toys and here’s the finished product.
