Seasonal decor are my go-to props for a fun and personalized holiday photoshoot. Here’s one I did with some of my Halloween decor.

Props & Outfit
Here’s everything I used:
White cardstock paper – bat cutouts
Painter’s tape
Hocus-pocus decor (Target dollar section)
Halloween LED candles (Target dollar section)
Spiders (Target dollar section)
Potion bottles 10pack – sold individually in stores only (Target dollar section)

Setting up
For the backdrop, I first cut the black craft paper to desired dimensions and taped it to the wall with some painter’s tape. Then I placed the Trick or Treat board on one side of the backdrop and the wooden crate draped with cheesecloth on the other side. Next up, I taped the bat cutouts to the backdrop with loops of painter’s tape.

I played around with the arrangement of my decor and decided to do a majority of ‘white’ on the crate to complement the backdrop and did mostly ‘black’ infront of the crate. Lastly, I filled the potion bottle with coke as a finishing touch.
