I love using seasonal decor as photo props mainly because they help create fun and personalized holiday pictures in no time. Here’s one I did with some of my Fall decor.

Props & Outfit
Here’s everything I used:
Pumpkins

Setting up
The main thing I wanted to include in the pictures was the harvest board which was taller than I expected. So I stacked two wooden crates — one filled with pumpkins and the other stuffed with a garland — to balance the height on the other side. Lastly, I added the mini-wagon on top. To fill the wagon, I first placed the empty boxes (in which the pumpkins came) and arranged the pumpkins on top of it.

One tip to easily choose among your decor and set it up for the pictures is to gather all decor and pick the main object — the harvest board in my case. Then pick the rest of the decor that would complement the main object and tie everything together.

Since my props were way too tall for Vedh, I had him standing a little closer to the camera. That way he’s the main focus in the pictures and my props are complementing him in the backdrop.

Hope you liked this fun idea, I’d love to see how your pictures turn out so tag me on Instagram when you post them. Also, do checkout Mommy clicks on Facebook and Pinterest.
